Kopi luwak of Indonesia priced around $120-$600/pound is the most expensive coffee in the world. Made from coffee beans that being excreted by Luwak (local name of Indonesian Palm Civet) the beans are actually part of this little animal diet. They are known of their best instinct of “hand-picking” the best coffee beans for their dietary supplement. Instead of being digested, the beans were actually enzyme those giving more bitter taste to the beans.
